KSI Algarve is the first school in the region to offer the International Baccalaureate Primary Years Programme (IB PYP). The International Baccalaureate Primary Years Programme (IB PYP) is made up of elements that are central to the growth and development of young minds. The programme provides students aged 3-12 with an engaging environment that is challenging and significant. The IB PYP is a framework guided by six interdisciplinary themes. It focuses on the education of the whole child as an inquirer, both within the class and beyond. The curriculum prepares students to make a positive difference in the world around them, preparing them to be global citizens and passionate lifelong learners.
English is the primary language of instruction at KSI Algarve. Portuguese is offered as a mother tongue and a second language. KSI Algarve can also support additional mother tongue through online learning. Enthusiastic and supportive teachers, challenge students to accomplish their learning potential. The School offers smaller classes which enhances student learning and confidence.
