The Casa dos Patudos, as a museum, was inagurated on 15th May 1960. In this house, you can find a refined artistic sensibility that goes from furniture to porcelains beyond paintings and tapestries that compose José Relvas's main collection. We can find some iconic names of Portuguese painting like Silva Porto, José Malhoa, Columbano Bordalo Pinheiro and Constantino Fernandes beyond other notorious artist from other vanguards abroad. The collection is also composed by porcelains from Sevrès and Saxe, tiles, pieces from Companhia das Índias, ceramics from Rafael Bordalo Pinheiro and bronze from Chapu, Mercié, Frémiet and others.
